American Chopsuey


Ingredients :

* Chicken bonelss - 200 grams
* Prawns - 200 g
* Chinese Noodles - 1 paket / 200 g
* Salt - as per taste
* White pepper powder - 1 tsp
* Chinese salt - 1 tsp
* Sugar - 2 tbsp
* Corn flour - 2-3 tbsp
* Egg - 1
* Cabbage - 1  small
* Spring onion - 2-3
* Carrot - 2 Medium
* Chicken stock - 1/2 cup
* Lemon juice - 2-3 tbsp
* Tomato ketchup - 1 cup
* Chilli sauce - 4 tbsp
* Dalda cooking oil - for frying


Method :

Cut chicken into small cubes,deshell and devein prawns properly wash both and pat dry.Make a marinade with corn flour,salt 1 tsp,sugar,chinese salt,white pepper powder and 2 tbsp dalda oil.Marinate chicken and prawns in it refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.Heat dalda cooking oil in a wok for 3-4 minutes on medium heat and fry both chicken and prawns until they turn golden.Allow to cool completely and chop into small pieces.
Boil noodles in saly boiling water for 10-12 mint,strain and refresh with cold water.If u want to fry noodles then deep fry in hot dalda cookin until it truns golden.Cut carrot, cabbage and spring onion ino juliennes.Heat oil 2-3 tbsp in a wok for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.Saute onion for a minute and add chicken,prawns,carrot and stock,mixwell add cabbage,tomato,ketchup,chilli sauce,lemon juice,saltand sugar in it.Bring to a boil on medium heat for 2 minutes.Crush fried noodles,laye in a platter ,pour sauce and top with double fried egg.Serve hot.
