The Benefits of Hajj

In Hajj, there are many benefits for Muslims both in this world and the Hereafter.
As for religious benefits, when Muslims perform the Hajj rituals in the best way it is a way of showing obedience and love for Allaah. Hajj also purifies the pilgrims from their sins. As for worldly benefits, Hajj season is an annual gathering for Muslims from all over the world where they meet to consult each other and cooperate in all that is beneficial.
Properly Performed Hajj:
Hajj is one of the greatest acts of worship which a Muslim performs in order to get nearer to Allaah, because Allaah made Hajj a means for forgiving sins.
The Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, was asked:
"Which of the deeds is the best?"

He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, replied: "Belief in Allaah and His Messenger"
He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, was asked: "What is next?"
He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, replied: "Fighting Jihaad for the Sake of Allaah"
He, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, was again asked: "What is next?"
He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam,  replied: "Properly performed Hajj" (Al-Bukhaari)
In this narration, Hajj is mentioned as the third act preferred by the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam.
A properly performed Hajj is a sort of Jihaad in which a Muslim bears hardship and exerts great efforts. At the same time, he will be far away from his family, property, and children just for the hope of attaining the Reward and Pleasure of Allaah as well as His Paradise.
A properly performed Hajj is a sincere Hajj in which one does not intend to show off. It is also the one which is free from obscene words or deeds and false disputes. As well as this, a properly performed Hajj is the one in which the rituals of Hajj are performed in accordance with Allaah's and His Prophet's, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, orders.

Great Massage For Namazi

Golden Words for Mother,s

In the name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Gracious My mother had only one eye,I hated her as I was ashamed of her  She was a cook in the school cafeteria where I studied.

One day, when I saw still in a primary class,She came to visit me to see for herself that I was all right. I was very upset, how dare she do this to me? After that incident I ignored her & looked on herOnly with hateful eyes…. The next day, a fellow-student told me,“oohhh, your mother has only one eye!” At that moment, I wanted to crawl  under the floorAnd that my mother would be out of my life completely. The next day I went to meet her & to tell here:” because of you I am the joke at school,Why don’t you die and go away!? But, she did not respond…. I wasn’t thinking and did not know what I was saying,I was very angry. I could not imagineHow she would react to my remarks. And, I left town.

I studied relentlessly and obtained a scholarshipto continue my studies abroad. In fact, I completed my studies, got married, bought a house and set up my family.I lived a happy and a peaceful life.

One day, I received an invitation from my hometown school to attend a reunion under the ” close family ties ” topic I lied to my wife and made her believe thatI was traveling for business. After the reunion I stopped by the housewhere I grew up The neighbours informed me thatmy mother had passed away. I did not shed even one drop of tear!!!

One day, my mother comes to visit me.It has been many years since she had disappeared,She had never met here grand-children. She remained at the doorstepWhile my children were making fun of her I shouted at her: ” How date you come all the way here andfrighten my kids?! With a calm voice she responded:“I apologize, I am at the wrong address.”And she disappeared.

The neighbor handed me a letter that my mother had left for me “My Dear son, I always thought of you.” I regret having visited you abroadAnd frightened your kids …I was very pleased when I heard that you would come to attend the reunion …The only thing was that I could not get upfrom my bed to come and see you…. … I am broken-hearted that I broughtshame to you on numerous occasions… Did you know that when you were a baby you had an accident and lost your one eye?… … and, as any other mother would,I would not let you grow up with only one eye…. So. I gave you my eye…….. I was very proud and happy to know that my son would beable to see the world with my eye … with all my love… …Your mother….

The Graetness of Surah Baqara last Ayaats

There is a Rawayat from Nauman Bin Basheer ( may God Please with him ) that Hazrat Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) said , “ That ALLAH PAAK has written a book before the creation of universe , from that book , ALLAH Almighty sends two Ayaats on which Surah-e-bakra ends . If these two Ayaats will recite in a house for three days Devil ( shetan ) will never even come near to that house.”                                               < TIRMAZI –DARMI > There is a Rawayat from Ibn-e-Abbas ( may God please with him ) that Once Hazrat Jibrail (A.S) came in the obedience of Hazrat Muhammad ( P.B.U.H)  on that moment , Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) heard the door opening sound of Heaven ( Jannat ) . Prophet Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) said , “ This door of Heaven never opened before ” from that door an angel appeared then , Holy Prophet ( P.B.U.H) said , “ This Angel never ever appeared before” that angel said Salam to Hazrat Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) & then he said ,“ There is a good news for you of these two lights ( NOORS) which never gave to any Prophet before . One is Surah-e-Fatiha ( ALHUMDULILLAH HI RABBIL ALAMEEN ) & Second is the last Ayaats of Surah-e-Bakra you will be prized if you read even a word from these two (means all prayers in these Ayaats will be granted ).”  < MASHALLAH >

The story of Abu Hanifa (radi Allahu ‘anhu), and his neighbor

It is well known that Abu Hanifa (radi Allahu ‘anhu), did tahajjut every night. He would spend his night reciting the Quran. He had a neighbor who was an alcoholic, and he used to drink a lot and sing love poems. This used to bother the imam.
But one day, the imam did not hear this man’s revelry, so he went and asked about him. They said, “Oh, so-and-so. They took him to jail.” So, the very well respected imam went to the jail. He was the most respected imam and qaadi at the time in that place. When the ruler found out the imam went to the jail, he asked for the reason and was told that the imam was concerned about his neighbor who had been arrested. So, the ruler said to release the man, and he was released.
The neighbor then asked Abu Hanifa why he did that, and he replied, “Because you have a right upon me as a neighbor, and I have not been neglectful of that.” That was the reason that the neighbor made tauba to Allah subhâna wa ta’âla [that is: embraced islam].

Defeating the Satan

A man woke up early in order to have his morning devotion (NAMAAZ). He got dressed, set on his way to the Lord’s house.
On his way to the MASJID, the man fell and his clothes got dirty.. He got up, brushed himself up, and headed home.
At home, he changed his clothes, and was, again, on his way to the MASJID.
On his way to the MASJID, he fell again and at the same spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off and headed home. At home he, once again, changed his clothes and was on his way to the Lord’s house.
On his way to the MASJID, he met a man holding a lamp. He asked the man of his identity and the man replied ‘I saw you fall twice on your way to the MASJID, so I brought a lamp so I can light your way.
The first man thanked him profusely and the two went on their way to the MASJID.
Once at the MASJID, the first man asked the man with the lamp to come in and offer SALAAH with him.
The second man refused.
The first man asked him a couple more times and, again, the answer was the same.
The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray.
The man replied, ‘I am Satan’. The man was shocked at this reply. Satan went on to explain, ‘I saw you on your way to the MASJID and it was I who made you fall. When you went home, cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the MASJID, God forgave all of your sins.
I made you fall a second time, and even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather, you went back on your way to MASJID. Because of that, God forgave all the sins of the people of your household.
I was afraid if I made you fall one more time, then God will forgive the sins of the whole ntion (world)so I made sure that you reached the MASJID safely.’
Do not put off the good you intended to do as you never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships you encounter while trying to achieve that good.
For your righteousness can save your family and nation at large.
Do this and see the victory of the Lord.
If sharing this message will bother you, or take too much time from you, then don’t do it, but you will not get the reward of it, which is great.
Wouldn’t it be easy just to press ‘share’ and receive this reward?
Praise be to Lord in the highest.
When you Carry the Quran. Shaitan gets a Headache.
When you Open it, he Collapses.
When he Sees you Reading it, he Faints.
When he Sees you are living what you read, he Flees.
And when you are about to Re-Post this Message, he will try to Discourage you…
I Defeated him, WILL YOU?

Did Islam Spread By The Sword?

It’s a common accusation made against Muslims and Islam in general: “The only reason Islam is a world religion is because it spread by the sword.” It’s a favorite remark of Islamophobes who parade as analysts and historians fear-mongering about the threat Islam supposedly poses to the Western World. With it being such a hot topic that causes so much debate, it is appropriate to analyze and study this topic to better understand whether it is valid or not.
Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Persia – The First Conquests
After the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Islamic expansion truly began in the early 630s, AD. Campaigns against the Byzantine and Sassanid (Persian) Empires were initiated which pitted this new religion of Islam, with its desert Arabian warriors against the established and ancient empires centered in Constantinople and Ctesiphon.
Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), the first caliph of Islam, gave these armies rules which would seem very constricting by today’s standards of warfare:
“Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy’s flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone.”
These rules were very unique and innovative for the time. Just before this Muslim expansion, the Persians and Byzantines had fought a decades-long war that left lands from Syria to Iraq in ruins. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) made it clear that Muslim armies do not operate by the same principles and restrict their fights to the armies and governments of the enemy, not the general populace. Islamic Shari’ah law, based on the example of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), clearly forbids the use of force against anyone except in legitimate cases of war against a clearly defined enemy.*
The purpose of this article is not to delve into the tactics and individual battles of this conquest of Egypt, Syria and Iraq. It is enough for our purposes here to state that Syria was under Muslim control by 638, Egypt by 642, and Iraq/Persia by 644. The Byzantine Empire, having lost its religious base in Syria, as well as its commercial base in Egypt was greatly weakened. The Sassanid Empire, on the other hand, completely ceased to exist after the Muslim conquest. Politically, it was a disaster for these two giant empires. But, going back to the main idea of this article, how did Islam as a religion spread in the conquered areas?
Unequivocally, the general populace was not forced or induced to convert to Islam. If anything, they were encouraged to continue living their lives as they had for centuries before. In the example of the conquest of Jerusalem, the caliph at the time, Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), wrote in the surrender treaty with the patriarchs of city:
He [Umar] has given them an assurance of safety for themselves, for their property, their churches, their crosses, the sick and healthy of the city…Their churches will not be inhabited by Muslims and will not be destroyed…They will not be forcibly converted.
No other empire or state at the time had such ideas about religious tolerance. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), being a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), sets a precedent in this treaty about the treatment of conquered peoples in Islamic law. The rest of the conquered lands, in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Persia had similar treaties. Whether the citizens of the conquered lands were Christian, Jew, Sabians, or Zoroastrians, they were allowed to keep their religious traditions. There exists not one example of forced conversion in these early conquests.
Proof of the lack of forced conversion in these areas is the remaining Christian communities in these countries. For the first few centuries after the Muslim conquest, the majority of the population of these areas remained Christian. Slowly, they began to take on Islam as their religion and Arabic as their language. Today, large percentages of Christians remain in Egypt (9%), Syria (10%), Lebanon (39%), and Iraq (3%). If those early Muslim conquests (or even later Muslim rulers) forced conversion on anyone, there would be no Christian communities in those countries. Their existence is proof of Islam not spreading by the sword in these areas.
North Africa and Spain
The soldiers and leaders of these early conquests in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Persia were from the first generation of Muslims. Many of them were even companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). What would happen as Muslim expansion continued in later generations, as Muslim armies fought the Byzantines further West, in North Africa and later, in Spain?
The majority of the population of the North African coast in the 600s were Berbers. While the Byzantine Empire controlled most of the coast from Egypt to Algeria, the people of those areas were generally not loyal to the Byzantines who had great trouble trying to subdue the region. Political and social upheaval in the century before Islam led to a devastated region, which was probably just a shell of its former glory as a Roman province.
The first Umayyad caliph, Muawiya, appointed a general, Uqba bin Nafi, to conquer the North African coast from the Byzantines in the 660s. Again, without getting into the details of the tactics and battles, within the course of a few decades, Muslim control over North Africa was solidified.
The same pattern we saw in Southwest Asia continued in North Africa. Conversions were not forced on any of the local populations. No accounts, by either Muslim or non-Muslim sources, mention forced conversion of the Berbers. Indeed, many Berbers did convert to Islam quite quickly. That strengthened the Muslim armies, as huge numbers of newly-converted Berbers would join the armies sweeping across the continent. Had these Berbers been forced to convert, they certainly would not have had the zeal and enthusiasm for Islam that would cause them to join the armies and spread Islamic political control even further against the Byzantines.
After the Muslim conquest of North Africa, came a proposal that would prove to change world history forever. In the early 700s, the Iberian Peninsula (present-day Spain and Portugal) was under the control of the Visigothic King Roderic. A nobleman from Iberia sent to the Muslim governor of North Africa, complaining about the oppressive and tyranical rule of Roderic. The nobleman promised to support a Muslim invasion against Roderic with his own troops if they intervened.
After a few preliminary raids to gauge the local populations’ support for such an intervention, the Muslim general Tariq ibn Ziyad (who may possibly have been Berber himself), ferried an army across from Morocco to Iberia in 711. Within months, Tariq’s army had defeated King Roderic and opened up the country to Muslim control. Within 3 years, the entire Iberian Peninsula was under Muslim control. Many cities, hearing of the justice of Muslim rule, voluntarily opened their doors and welcomed Muslim armies, who ended what they saw as the oppressive rule of the Visigoths.
More documentary evidence survives from this conquest proving that the conquest did not mean forced conversion. In April 713, a Muslim governor in the region negotiated a treaty with a Visigothic noble, which included the provision that the local people “will not be killed or taken prisoner. Nor will they be separated from their women and children. They will not be coerced in matters of religion, their churches will not be burned.”
We see again in the example of Muslim Spain (which would later be called al-Andalus) that the locals (mostly Christians, although a sizable Jewish population also existed) were not forced to convert to Islam. In fact, in later centuries, an almost utopian society of religious tolerance existed in al-Andalus, in which Muslims, Jews, and Christians all experienced a golden age of knowledge, culture, and philosophy. This enlightened land of religious tolerance would end centuries later with the Christian Reconquista which effectively ethnically cleansed Muslims and Jews from the entire peninsula.
The Indian Subcontinent
Today, two of the most populous Muslim countries in the world, Pakistan (2rd most Muslims), and India (3rd most Muslims), occupy the Indian subcontinent. Islam has had an incredible and lasting impact on the region in all aspects of life. However, even through centuries of Muslim rule by different empires and dynasties, Hinduism and other religions remain as important aspects of the subcontinent.
The reasons for Muslim invasion into the subcontinent were justified by the time period’s rules of warfare. A ship filled with daughters of Muslim traders who were trading in Sri Lanka was attacked by pirates from Sindh (what is now Pakistan) who captured and enslaved the women. Seeking to liberate the women and punish the pirates, an expedition was sent out in 710, led by Muhammad bin Qasim, an Arab from the city of Ta’if.
Bin Qasim’s military expedition into this distant and remote land was made successful by very important social issues in India. The caste system, which originated from Hindu belief, divided society up into very strictly controlled social classes. Those on top led wealthy, comfortable lives, while those on the bottom (particularly untouchables) were seen as the scourge of society. Added to this were the Buddhists, who were generally oppressed by the Hindu princes throughout the country. With the entrance of Muslim armies, which carried with them the promise of an equal society, many Buddhists and lower castes welcomed the Muslim armies. In fact, the first Muslims of Indian origin were probably from the lower castes, as Islam offered them an escape from the oppressive social system they were accustomed to.
With the conquest of Sindh, Muhammad bin Qasim showed that Islamic law’s protection of religious minorities was not just for Christians and Jews. Buddhists and Hindus in the subcontinent were given religious freedom and were not forced to convert. In one case, a Buddhist community complained to bin Qasim of their fear that the Muslim armies would force Islam upon them and they would have to leave the practices of their ancestors. Bin Qasim held a meeting with the Buddhist and Hindu leaders of the town, and promised them religious freedom and asked them to continue leading their lives as they had previously.
Conclusions
We now come back to the question posed at the beginning of the article: did Islam spread by the sword? While numerous people with political and religious agendas make their case otherwise, it is seen as a clear and indisputable fact that the religion of Islam was not spread through violence, coercion, fear, or bloodshed. There exist no accounts of people being forced to convert to Islam under any circumstances. While the political and military control of Muslim leaders did in fact spread through defensive warfare, Muslim leaders and generals in fact went out of their way to protect the rights of other religious groups. The warfare was always carried out only against the governments and armies that the Muslims were at war with. The local citizens were left alone. Although this article only gives specific examples of a few regions, this trend continued throughout Islamic history, following the precedent of the early Muslims.
It is important to note that these are some of the first examples in history of religious tolerance. While religious tolerance and freedom are first seen in “Western” civilization in the Enlightenment of the 1600s and 1700s, Muslims have practiced religious freedom since the 600s AD. The arguments made by some political and historical “pundits” about Islamic belief spreading violently and through warfare clearly have no historical basis. In fact, Muslim religious toleration has influenced the historical tradition of such ideas in lands as diverse as Europe, the Americans and India.

Centuries-Old Quran Found in Turkey

Source : OnIslam & News Agencies / 17 Sep 2013
Preserved for centuries in a prayer rug, a 1200 year–old handwritten Qur’an and tafsir books have been found in a Turkish mosque in Muğla province in the southwestern Aegean Region of Turkey.
“We did not give it any importance thinking that it was an ordinary Qur’an,” Yüksel Kılınçarslan, the imam of Tepecik Mosque where the Qur’an was found, told Anadolu Agency reported on Monday, September 16.
“But I realized that it is handwritten and the figures on it show that it dates back to 1,200 years ago.”
Located in Aegean resort town of Bodrum, Tepecik Mosque has been the local since 1737.
Earlier this month, the 1200-year-old handwritten Qur’an was found in the basement of Tepecik Mosque in Turkey’s Bodrum district in Muğla province rolled in a prayer rug.
After a series of examinations by historians, it has been confirmed that the Qur’an dated back more than a thousand year.
After informing Bodrum’s Mufti Emin Arık, the Qur’an copy was repeatedly examined by historians, who found that the Qur’an dated back for more than a thousand year.
“I went to Ankara to talk to officials and they asked me to give it to the relevant institute.” Kılınçarslan said.
The Qur’an copy was handed to Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum in a ceremonial event.
Officials said that the handwritten Qur’an will be sent to a manuscript library in İzmir after undergoing some maintenance.
The Qur’an is a revelation from God, the creator of the worlds, so He is the original author.
There is only one Qur’an which is in Arabic and many translations of the Qur’an in several languages.
There could be multiple translations by different authors in the same language such as English.
The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through the archangel Gabriel who used to make the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) memorize the Qur’an and made him revise it every year in the month of Ramadan, the fasting month.
Fragments from a large number of Qur'an codices were discovered in Yemen in 1972. They are now lodged in the House of Manuscript in Sana'a.
Tests date some of the parchments to 645–690 AD, however, archeologists said that calligraphic datings have pointed to 710–715 AD.
One of the three Qur'ans attributed to Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), the Samarkand Kufic Qur’an is preserved at Tashkent. It is believed to be of a date between 595 CE and 855 CE

Islam Way of Life

1) Purify your intentions and remember that you wish to seek the pleasure of Allah: Sincerity in all we do is a commandment of Allah says:قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَ‌ٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ“Say, ‘Indeed my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first (among you) of the Muslims.” (Surah al-An’aam, 6:162,163).Allah says :إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ أَلَا لِلَّهِ الدِّينُ الْخَالِصُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ كَاذِبٌ كَفَّارٌ“So worship Allah (alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah’s sake only, (and not to show-off and not to set up rivals with Him in worship). Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only.” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:2-3).Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “Deeds without sincerity are like a traveler who carries in his water-jug dirt. The carrying of it burdens him and it brings no benefit.”

2) Seek Allah’s help through du’a: Allah has told His Messenger (SAW) that He is close and answers the supplication of any servant who calls to Him. He said:وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ“When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them), I respond to the prayer of every supplicant when he calleth on Me.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186).

3) Do not procrastinate: It is easier for one to put off a goal until tomorrow so that one can rationalize not disciplining oneself today. How often have we said, “Insha’Allah, I will make a change tomorrow” but never actually get around to doing it? One of the early scholars said, “Beware of procrastinating. It is the greatest of the soldiers of Shaytaan.” Do not make half-hearted promises – you are fooling no one but yourself. Carry out your resolutions with zeal and optimism.

4) Take baby steps and set realistic goals in our zeal: We often chart ambitious plans only to be discouraged when we cannot sustain our efforts. Remember that no good deed is to small Rasulullah (SAW) was asked, “Which deed is most beloved to Allah?” He said, “The one that is continuous, even if it is little.” (Sahih al-Bukhari).Small changes work a great deal better than giant leaps, so don’t bite off more than you can chew. Start out with small deeds and you that you can accomplish easily and consistently before moving on to more challenging ones. This will motivate you and make you feel more successful. Insha’Allah, you will find that over time, you will have made a big difference.

5) Build a good support system: Ibn Hazm said, “Anyone who criticizes you cares about your friendship. Anyone who makes light of your faults cares nothing about you.” It is said that reminders benefit the believers, so surround yourselves with good companions who will give you sincere advice and who will support you with your resolutions. Avoid those who will chip away at your self-esteem or who will tempt you away from your resolutions. Bear in mind what, ‘Ali (RA) said: “Mix with the noble people, you become one of them; and keep away from evil people to protect yourself from their evils.”

6) Tract your progress and be consistent: Write down your goals – hang this list up on the wall, keep it in your notebook, fold in into your wallet or stick it in your locker. You can even keep a log or journal of how you are doing – start a weblong even! Be honest with yourself and recheck your goals. The idea is not to slacker. Indeed, when Rasulullah (SAW) did something, he kept it up. (Muslim). Take a look at the Hadit in which Allah says: “………’My slave keeps drawing nearer to me with naafil (supererogatory) deeds until I love him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
The phrase maa yazaalu (“keeps drawing near)” gives the impression of continuity.

7) Avoid burnout: It is inevitable that we sometimes feel as if our iman has hit rock bottom or that we lack the spirit to continue in our striving. Rasulullah (SAW) said, “Iman wears out in one’s heart, just as the dress wears out (becomes thin). Therefore, ask Allah to renew iman in your hearts.” (At-Tabarani). Continuing to do acts of worship and good deeds does not mean one exhausts oneself to breaking point. We continue with the obligatory acts. When we have the energy and inclination, we strive to do more and when we do not, we do as much as we can. Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection” (Sahih al-Bukhari) According to another report, Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Be moderate, and you will reach what you want.” (Sahih al-Bukhar).

8) Seek inspiration: The best sources of inspiration are in the mighty Qur’an, Rasulullah (SAW), his companions, the pious predecessors and the scholars. Amir ibn Abdullah who was once asked, “How can you tolerate being awake all night, and thirsty in the intense heat of the day?” He replied, “Is it anything more than postponing the food of the day to nighttime, and the sleep of the night to daytime? This is not a big matter.” When the night came, he would say, “Remembrance of the heat of hell fire has taken sleepiness from me.” And he would not sleep until dawn.

9) Do a variety of acts of worship: Allah in His Infinite Mercy has blessed us with a variety of acts of worship to do ,some are physical such as prayer; some are financial such as Zakah and sadaqa; some are spoken such as du’aa and dhikr. Perhaps the wisdom behind this provision is that it addresses the different inclinations and abilities of the people. Some people may enjoy some kinds of worship more than others. Indeed, Allah has made gates of Paradise according to the different types of worship. Abu Hurairah (RA) says Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Whoever spends on a pair for the sake of Allah will be called from the gates of Paradise, ‘O slave of Allah, this is good.’ Whoever is one of the people of prayer will be called from the gate of prayer. Whoever is one of the people of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad. Whoever is one of the people of fasting will be called from the gate of al Rayyan. Whoever is one of the people of charity will be called from the gate of charity.” (Sahih al-Bukhari).

10) Do not waste even a minute: As mentioned earlier, there are a variety of deeds one can do. There may be days when one is busy with chores, work or commitments to family and friends. This does not mean that one does not have time to incorporate one’s resolution to live Islam daily. One can make dhikr while cooking, one can memorize a du’aa while waiting for the bus, one can listen to an Islamic lecture when driving home from work….. the list goes on. The bottom line? Do what you can when you can.

The Quran literally meaning '' the recitation'', It is regarded widley as the finest piece of literature in the Arabic language. The Quran is composed of verses that make up 114 chapters (suras) of unequal lenth which are classified either as Mecca or Madina depending upon their place and time of revelation.Muslims belive the Quran to be verbally revealed through angel Jibril (AS) from God to Muhammad(SAW) garadually over a period of approximately 23 years beginning in 610 CE,when Muhammad(SAW) was 40,and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death.
