Ingredients :
* Beef Pasanda - 1kg
* Onion paste - 1 cup
* Onion fry - 1
* Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
* Ginger, Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
* Raw Papaya paste - 3 tbsp
* Garam masala pwdr - 1 tsp
* Yogurt - 1/2 cup
* Poppy seed - 2 tbsp
* Turmeric - half tsp
* Musturd oil - 4 tbsp
* Cumin pwdr roasted - 1 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Red chilli crushed - half tsp
Method :
Marinate to beef strips with musturd oil and salt to 30 minutes.In a bowl mix together all ingredients, Now add the beef strips in marinate and leave it for about 5-12 hours in Refrigerate.(depending on when you want to grill the kababs.
An hours before you want to cook the kababs, take the meat out of the refrigerate and bring it to room temperature.Start a charcoal grill and get the coals to a steady high heat.
Grill the skewered meat over an open charcoal grill,evenly on both side for about 7-8 minutes on each side till the meat looks done .Serve the behari kababs with mint chutney, some chunky vegetable salad and tawa paratha.
Mint Chutney:
Take yogurt, salt, black pepper,mint leaves and mix to well.
Tawa Paratha :
Mix 2 cup of flour,salt a pinch,egg 1 and clarified butter 2 tbsp in a bowl add required water and knead to from a soft dough.and cover the dough to rest for 1 hours.Make small ball of the dough and take a rolling pin, roll out the dough ball on the floured surface.Place the rolled out dough on a hot tawa (griddle).Let it cook for 45 seconds,trun and spread a little clarified butter on that one side.Trun the paratha and again spread butter on this side too.Take the paratha off the griddle when golden on both side.
